I want a real career, not just a qualification
You're in Year 10, 11 or 12. You want to work with your hands. You want to get somewhere. We'll show you exactly how.

You're in Year 10, 11 or 12. You want to work with your hands. You want to get somewhere. We'll show you exactly how.

You want clarity, not confusion. Find out what this program actually involves - and why it works.

You need a reliable RTO that makes VETiS delivery seamless and your student's job-ready.
Here's how we work.
Queensland needs 105,000 new construction workers in the next five years.
Inscope Training delivers nationally accredited training three ways for Year 10-12 students to get a head start in the construction industry - each designed to fit around your existing school timetable:

CPC20220 | Nationally accredited | Up to 4 QCE points | Fully funded for eligible students | The main VETiS qualification
Start a Certificate III trade apprenticeship while still at school | Earn while you learn | Leads directly to a full-time apprenticeship
White Card | CPR | First Aid. Nationally recognised, industry-ready credentials before you even leave school

Complete the Certificate II in Construction Pathways and we can help you take the next step into a school-based apprenticeship in:
CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry
CPC30620 Certificate III in Painting and Decorating
CPC31220 Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining
CPC31320 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling
In Queensland, school-based apprentices are exempt from paying student co-contribution fees towards their training.
And the good news continues for eligible students moving from a school-based apprenticeship to a full-time apprenticeship, under the Queensland Government's Free Apprenticeships U25s program you pay zero out-of-pocket training costs.
After successfully completing your apprenticeship, you'll become a fully qualified tradesperson.
With further industry experience and qualifications, you can progress into leadership roles such as Licensed Trade Contractor, Site Supervisor or Builder, managing projects, leading teams and even running your own business.

For students who want industry credentials without committing to a full qualification, Inscope offers standalone accredited short courses:
CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry
HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

Construction is one of the most in-demand industries in Australia. The Brisbane 2032 Olympics, a national housing shortage, and multi-billion dollar infrastructure pipeline mean qualified tradespeople will be among the most sought-after workers in the country in the next decade. A trade qualification goes with your child for life.
Discover why now is one of the best times to start a career in construction.
CPC20220 Certificate II in Construction Pathways is offered to secondary school students through a general training pathway. A great introductory qualification for students to learn basic skills and safety knowledge before seeking a job in the construction industry. This qualification is not a pre-requisite for an apprenticeship, but equivalent units completed under this qualification can be credit transferred to a Certificate III qualification.
While employed as an apprentice in the trade of choice, apprentices undertake the Certificate III qualification relevant to their trade. Apprentices can be employed as school-based, part-time or full-time. Generally, an apprenticeship takes 4 years to complete, longer if part-time or school-based. School-based apprentices convert to part-time or full-time once they have completed their senior year or earlier if they drop out of school.
On completion of an apprenticeship, apprentices become full qualified tradesperson in their chosen trade. With further industry experience and qualifications, they can progress into leadership roles such as Licensed Trade Contractor, Site Supervisor or Builder, managing projects, leading teams and even running their own business.

For eligible students: nothing.
CPC20220 Certificate II in Construction Pathways training is fully subsidised under the Queensland Government's VETiS General Training Pathway for eligible students. For students not eligible for VETiS funding, the fee for service cost is $2,500.00 (GST free.)
Students who complete this qualification can find work in the construction industry as an apprentice, trades assistant, administration etc.
If your child finds employment as a school-based apprentice, their training is fully subsidised by the Queensland Government. When your child completes or leaves school they convert to a full-time or part-time apprenticeship. Full-time and part-time apprenticeship training is also fully subsidised for eligible students under 25, through the Free Apprenticeships for U25s program.

With training fully subsidised for eligible students and clear pathways into apprenticeships and long-term careers, there's never been a better time to explore opportunities in construction.
